Do you have a passion for thrifting, a knack for managing teams, and a talent for boosting sales? Thrift World is seeking a dynamic Retail Store Manager to lead our store in the Omaha area. As a Retail Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of store operations, from managing inventory and merchandise displays to providing exceptional customer service. If you have a sharp eye for trends, excellent communication skills, and a drive for success, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of 20-25 associates to achieve sales and production goals and provide exceptional customer service
- Create visually appealing merchandise displays to drive sales and enhance the shopping experience
- Develop and implement strategies to increase store traffic and customer engagement
- Monitor and analyze sales performance to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
- Maintaining quality, safety, and housekeeping standards
- Recruiting, training, and development of team members
- Set and maintain staff schedules
- Meet monthly and annual sales targets
- Meet weekly production goals
- Budgeting and payroll
- Daily banking requirements
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years previous experience in retail management
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Knowledge of merchandising techniques and trends
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to motivate your team
